We Raise St. Croix Sheep

Day8 Farm is a family farm located in northeast Missouri. We raise registered St. Croix sheep via rotational grazing and minimal inputs. As 3rd generation sheep farmers we prioritize what’s best for the next generation instead of robbing the land for the highest paycheck. Faith, prayer, grit, sacrifice, and common sense are what you’ll find at Day8 Farm.

First Project

The first project on our farm was cleaning up an old barn that had collapsed and was beyond repair.

Out of the Rubble

A board with a metal number 8 nailed to it was found while sifting through the rubble. There were no other numbers and we cannot find any reason that the barn, property, or address would have ever been associated with the number 8.

In the Bible the 8th day often represents the beginning of something new from God such as His creation or the resurrection of Jesus. We wholeheartedly believe our farm and all things come from God and finding the board with the 8 during the first project is a reminder of the countless “day 8’s” He provides to us throughout our time exploring His creation.
